Boys and their toys… A car is basically a giant toy to most guys, and I am no exception. We bought this 1991 XJ Jeep Cherokee for Jamie to use as her daily driver because this was her dream car ever since she was a little girl. My dad also drove an XJ from this time period, except his was black with a red and white pinstripe. Needless to say, my nostalgia kicked in as well when we found this near mint condition Jeep. It lived in a warehouse for over 10 years and only had one previous owner. The windows being down in the MOC is accurate for the summer time as the AC in it died a few years ago and it is expensive to replace.
We bought this 1991 Jeep in 2012. I really wanted a LEGO version of the XJ, but alas, there is no official model. This MOC comes with tailgate action and opening doors. The antenna is way too tall, but there’s no piece thin enough to use. This model even comes with a little version of me behind the wheel as it is minifig scale.
